During the past year, especially recently, as I've talked with Christians & non-Christians too, I've heard, "Where is God in this awful world?" I've contemplated this question and I keep hearing God answer the question with a question, "I am the same, I am here...but where are my people?"
I've come to understand that God uses us as his arms and hands of compassion. It's not about us, it's about Him working through us. The more we become outwardly focused, we become more useful to God.
I know where God is. He is working through NHC'ers...and 186 children and their families will witness God at work this Christmas, through incredible generosity. Thank you NHC family...for your generosity and sacrifice. Check out this video montage of our NHC Angel Tree mission project.
The king will answer, "Whenever you did it for any of my people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me." Matthew 25:40
Then I heard the Lord's voice, saying, "Whom can I send? Who will go for us?"
So I said, "Here I am. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8
